Story about my neighbour

Down with fever, sore throat and flu today..So sick..sob sob..uurghhhh. "Hello!" the word was greeted from each of us when the lift was opened. I was on my way to see doctor the next block. Hoo Hoo Hoo, saw my charming neighbour again..How do I get to know him? The story begins..

I used to have two dogs at one point. They are the rascal oscar and playful cookie..They never get along with each other. Everytime, when I went downstair, I had to carry cookie and let the little oscar (which is only 2 months old) walked by himself. He would follow me everywhere I walked unlike cookie would drag me to where he want to walk. One of days, I did the same thing again, went downstair to run some errands with my two accompanies..We waited patiently for the lift to come with this stranger.."Tink Tong", the lift was here. Stepped in the lift and prepared to go upstair and the little oscar just refused to step in. I have to pacify him embarrassing myself infront of the stranger. He was very helpful indeed. He pressed the lift for me while I was saying funny words to my dog..ha ha ha..Finally, after much effort, we were on the way up our floor. "Tink Tong", we have reached the fifth floor and little oscar followed the man out of the lift..Shit!! The man again helped to press the button inside while waiting for oscar to return in. At this moment, the lift suddenly closed. Three of us (the man, cookie and myself) were in the lift travelling up without oscar. My heart was so panicked. Luckily the man reaction was fast, he quickly pressed the sixth floor and me rushed out, run one floor down and looked for my dog..Thanks gawd, I found him..The man helped me with my dogs and returned to the seventh floor and finally we reached home safely.

From there on, we often met each other at the lift and smiled at each other. He is a charming 30 odd man, with the right height, the right body and most of all, he has this deep dimple on his face..Hoohoo hooo..I think he drives a lexus and is married..No sure but when this is how I know my neighbour..

By the way, wanna know how come my oscar was so rebellious that day? The answer is because I was carrying a cane on my hand which I bought when running errands..Obviously, he was scared of the cane..ha ha ha

Christmas Presents

The two hours christmas shopping this evening alone nearly broke my weak back..My legs were so tired that I could hardly walk and not to say, to carry three big paper bags of presents..Finally, I managed to finish my last minutes christmas shopping..Phew..Can't help but to say "Shopping is really a torturing activity". I wanna saluate those who can shop for hours and days.

Presents which I received till now:-

(1) Oggy gave me $1400 cash.

(2) My organisation gave each of us a card reader thumb drive which allows us to easily extract details from our handphone memory card.

(3) My boss gave each of us a big bar of almond chocolate.

Be meeting my friend this friday for christmas present exchange and advance dinner. Can't wait to see what she bought for me..The present which I bought for her is something I really like..It is from Liz Caliborne. Can I give it to myself? It is so tempting and at that moment, I thought of buying a similar set but managed to remind myself that it is not my objective today..See, I am able to control myself..


Feel so sick now. Just finished cooking a pot of porridge to feed myself after a hard day work..Got to go..

Friday night

Sec school gathering at Furama Hotel last friday was quite enjoyable..Food was not nice at all but at least we enjoyed each other accompany. Laughter from our table was loud and clear..We must have make the limelight of the night..

Right after the warm dinner, I hopped on to join my colleagues. Been out of the scene for years and finally I joined in the fun with them. That was "St. James Power Station". We queued up for about 30 mins or more to get into this pub known as "DragonFly". "What the heck!!!! How come the music played by the liveband was in Chinese?" my mind was confused for a moment I stepped in. Damn, paid to get into a "low class" place..sorry but to say it was actually like the old Canto pub at Marina South last time..No wonder, I saw aunties when I was with the queue...Second floor was ktv, oh gosh...This was amazingly shocking...Please, please, please, for goodness sake..We hang around for 45 mins and left the place after finished our drinks...Explored for good pubs around and we ended up at "Devils Bar". Not very happening though but it was really entertaining. Saw two ladies whom made our night. They danced and reacted like hunger for sex and men..so horny..so desperate..Every guy who came near to them was their prey...ha ha ha ha..hey hey, woman is also their prey alright..Believe me or not, our table was just next to the live band, dancing floor and railing bar and we had a good view and laugh...

All in all, these two gathering were really fun..Almost lost my voice..hee hee

Life is full of surprises

13th of Dec is here again..Should I grieve or celebrate on this day? On one hand, it is my dad's birthday and on the other hand, it is Melvin's death anniversary. Sigh..He is one of those who died in his sleep. Should I say he is fortunate? Life is full of surprises, a person so young at the age of 28 who does not smoke or drink leading a simple life just left this world..Many of us were shocked by this news, but we still have to accept the fact. Was at the temple today to see and say "hello" to him. When I uttered "Take care ya!", my eyes and voice went soft..

"Happy Birthday to you, Dad. I love you!". Sent an sms to my dad this morning 12 sharp. I am a daddy girl and will remain forever. God has blessed me with the best dad in the world. Though my dad is poor, but my dad has given us alot of care by all his means quietly. He is like a friend to us, he talks rubbish to us, cracks joke with us, shows our friends with respect, never scold us, never control us and best of all, support us in all our decisions.

Not sure why, my bond with my dad is so much stronger than my bond with mum. I have told my dad "I love u" so many times and never in my life did I even mention it to my mum. Met up with mum last friday and had a simple meal and some chit chat. Know what..I seldom have eye contact with my mum when I talked to her. I felt she is like a stranger to me or maybe because I do not know how to communicate and treat her as a mum..sorry..Nevertheless, she is still my mum and I sincerely hope that she can forgive me for not ready to accept her. I will try to one day. Please forgive me!!

Items to look out for

It has been long since I bought something expensive to pamper myself. I have been eyeing a bracklet from Swaroski jewellery for months since feb. I saw it again this weekend..Hmm, thought of buying it maybe this coming Jan..Hmm, really took me one year to decide if I want to purchase..Tough customer isn't it..ha ha.

There are two other brackets I love in robinson as well. C'mon, one time at a time alright...I saw a men bag there too. It was very nice..I seldom eye on a men bag unless it is very nice and i tot the bag was quite catchy. Guess how much it cost? Bloody $500 alright..SO DAMN EX..

Oggy has been complaining that the jacket he wanted to get has been sold out..Poor thing..I was with him sometimes ago when he eyed on that jacket, but unfortunately i did not notice it at all..ha ha ha.I am also looking out for a jacket but until now, I did not see anything I like..well, it takes time..I always believe, when u want someting, it will not appear, but when you dun need it anymore, it will appear..Lets fate decide...

All about Common Law

Hey guys, do you still remember the old uni days which we spent our time studying "Contract Law"? I bet you do remember because that was the most memorable subject in your entire life too. Went for a training on Contract law again today. Terms like "Offer", "offerer", "Invitation to Treat", "Consideration","Minor" all flashes back.. Scary isn't it??..But for that moment, I thought of going back to get the book and study it again just like reading a book. The only difference is this time round I do not need to memorise the case law for exam. Opss, this time round, I definitely would not need to write "In an undecided case"...hee hee.

For gals out there, in case you do not know, please do remember to give 5 cents or a gift token to your husband when your husband gave you a wedding ring alright. As long as you have given your hubby a token, there will be contract binding and he has no rights to take back the ring when file for divorce..So, JUST REMEMBER...

By the way, do you wonder how come we studied "Common Law" instead of "Civic Law"? No one ask that question before.

Mind Riddle

I have enough stress but someone challenged me with this mind riddle. PLease Please help me!!

I borrowed $50 from my mum and dad each which amounts to $100. I took this $100 to buy a pair of shoe at $97. The shop returned me $3 and I in turn gave $1 back to mum and dad each. So I am left with $1. After returning, I still owe mum and dad $49 each which add up to $98. So, $98 with the $1 I have, it totals up to only $99. Where is the another $1?

Christmas is coming

'Are we still exchanging Christmas Present,' asked Jaseline. "Yup!" I replied. On one hand, I was thinking what should I buy for her. How about Oggy's present as well..Every year this time, I need to start to crack my head. Sigh..

Brother's birthday just past. Next coming ones is Dad's ones..Oh gosh..Dec is really a broke month and the best part is I HATE SHOPPING..Everywhere is so crowded and crowd always made me headache..Though population in Singapore is not huge compare to other countries, but shopping centers are always so bloody crowded. Why and WHY????

The most enjoyable christmas I ever had is when I was in Korea. Snow everywhere..So white and thick..That's my first time in my life I was covered by snow..Besides, I did enjoy the christmas shopping at Boston as well. It was really nice everywhere..Houses are decorated with christmas trees, ginger bread, etc. It was really cosy. Christmas in U.S compare to Singapore is so far far different. You should not ever miss the chance to spend your christmas there but please, not in Asian countries. Say me bias or what, but it is the truth..
